I wanted to try a modification that would liven my car up a little without running the risk of spending £400 on a permanent re-map that I might have found myself disappointed with. So I opted for the £129.99 solution from Car Performance Parts with the view "If the difference is not noticeable or only marginal - £129.99 isn't the end of the world" (and of course it can be removed if your model is still in warranty like mine and you don't want to upset the Main Dealer!).
I have to say the difference was unbeliveable. It took 5 minutes to fit and my car was immediately transformed. The reported figures for my model are an increase from 122 BHP to 150 BHP and I would say this is very likely. More responsive, greater acceleration, and more importantly - improved fuel consumption. Previously 44 MPG was about the best I saw (motorway), now, 53 MPG is no problem at all! |

I fitted the diesel tuning system chip to my BMW X5 and the difference is outstanding!! There is no more lag at the bottom of the rev range and it changes up through the 'box so much quicker.
The acceleration response is instant and the extra power shove brings a big grin everytime!! My MPG has gone from 22 around town to 26.5 and motorway journeys are up from 29 to 35 MPG on a trip to Cornwall with 5 people, luggage and a full roofbox!
I reckon it will pay for itself in 5 months. Thanks again!! |

I was very sceptical about these chips, but at the price I paid I decided to have a go.
Having bought your tuning chip I have a transformed car! I now get 39-41 MPG in a car with far better acceleration and incredible mid-range torque. I would recommend anyone to fit one based upon my experience. |

I'm made up. I even have photographs to show an average of 79.1 MPG on a 38 mile drive!!! I used to average about 439 miles per tank, I’m up to 600 miles per tank and it’s almost paid for itself already.
I have the 2003 C220 CDI Mercedes Sport Coupe. My son even noticed that the car seemed faster before I’d told him about it. It’s brought a smile back to my face! |

Since fitting the chip, my car (Volvo S60 D5 SE) has changed drastically. Before the chip the cars computer showed 42-44 MPG as the average, it is at this moment showing 54.8 MPG!.
On a recent trip to Cornwall I recorded an average of 58 MPG over a 500 mile trip (and I don't drive around like your Nan!).
The power increase is even more startling than the economy and the car will now effortlessly pull in top gear from 30mph with no glitches whatsoever, in fact it is now quite hard to show enough restraint to keep hold of my licence!
So in summary if anyone is wondering if it is worth buying one of these chips the only answer can be a definite yes! I can't recommend it enough. |

Just been out for a test drive and the performance is much improved. Thanks for a great product at a great price. I can't believe some outlets are selling similar things at over £400!!

My Rover 75 CDTI is regulary showing over 60 MPG on the fuel computer, before fitment it was nearer to 50 MPG. I bought the chip for the claimed MPG improvements and it certainly does what is claimed, also mid range torque and acceleration is improved as a by product.
I am not new to using these products, but in the past i have spent up to £450 so I find this very good value. |

Fitting was a 5 minute job and there wasn't any setting up required, resulting in a significant power increase straight away. The engine now has loads more mid range and top end power and revs through to the red line in all 6 gears.
I have now covered 15,000 miles with your system fitted and the performance gain is superb. Pound for pound I doubt that I will ever buy such a good performance enhancement again! |

I am thrilled with the results of the tuning chip, fitted in a few minutes, torque was vastly improved and there was a really noticeable difference in overall power, it is no exaggeration to say it feels like a different car!
My average MPG has gone from 44 to 52. As the saying goes 'it does what it says on the tin'. I think it will pay for itself in a year, especially with current diesel prices. |

It took minutes to fit with the supplied diagrams and the difference is instantly noticeable, fuel economy is up from averaging 37-39 MPG before fitting to currently showing 44.8 MPG, and boy does it fly now!
Previously I'd have described my 120d as 'quick for a diesel', now it's just quick period! MkIV Golf GTI's and Civic Type R's are among the vehicles that have been embarrassed by my diesel! |
